Sun02Dec20187.30 for 8pmSt.Peter's Church, Humshaugh, NE46 4AENext Sunday we have our third 'Late at Eight' service and we'd love to see you there. This time we're thinking about what Christmas really means, and how we share the gift of Jesus that we have been given. And of course, unpicking the real Jesus from the world around us is always tricky at Christmas; so many cards with stables, snow and wise men to get through first !For our scripture we're going to start with the opening verses of John's gospel but then focus on the last few words of the prologue -'The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.'Please bring your friends and do come and join us for worship led by Chris, talk and prayers from me.Sunday 2nd December, 7.30pm for tea and coffee, service starts at 8.00pm.

Fri25Jan20197:30 pmThe Gate Church, Prudhoe, NE42 6EX
Over the past few years we have been privileged to see God drawing churches together across the Tyne Valley and growing a movement of prayer and stronger relationships between us
Recently the Gate Church in Prudhoe invited Emma Stark of the Glasgow Prophetic Centre to speak at an open gathering of local Leaders and Christians and to share with us what she feels God is saying and doing both within our nation and the immediate region. Two specific messages were given about the Tyne Valley, a summary is attached. For a complete recording of afternoon and evening meetings and pdf version of the full prophetic word visit:http://thegatechurch.org.uk/downloads
Having prayed and reflected together, we believe that these prophetic words are trustworthy and credible, and that they represent an exciting stimulus to the churches of the Tyne Valley to move us to pray and act in response.
We would like to invite you and those in your congregation who share this desire to see God at work more powerfully among us, to join us for an evening of prayer on Friday 25th January at 7.30pm, at the Gate Church, Prudhoe. see attachment. The evening will involve further opportunity to reflect upon what each of us feels God is saying about what he is doing and plans to do among us, and praying and acting in response.
We believe that as we worship, pray and share our faith together, we will see God increasingly working in power among us and the spiritual climate in this beautiful valley changing. Please display the attached poster and join us for a great evening.

Sat08Feb20207:30 pmHexham Community Church
This event will include contemporary worship, similar to that used for the “Now is the Time” meetings.
The event will be led by Taking Ground Music, a community of singers, musicians and creatives with a vision to see people spiritually awakened to worship God. Their home church base is Tees Valley Community Church.
This is intended to be much more than just gathering together for a “feel good” evening. Worship honours our mighty God. It changes us, our perspective and it changes circumstances around us. Our God is SO worthy of our praise, our time, our effort. Come along to worship with us and see what God does! We look forward to seeing you there.
