The Shepherds from the Christmas Story have left their sheep to go and visit the Baby Jesus. While they have been in Bethlehem the sheep have run away and got lost in Hexham! Each of them has a name and is living in a shop in Hexham Town Centre. Can you find the names of the sheep and the shops where they are living? Whilst you are looking for the sheep look out for other characters from the Christmas Story appearing in a shop window in Hexham.

If you download this leaflet, as you find the sheep, you can write their names and the shops you’ve found them in inside the leaflet. Bring your list along to one of the Christmas services or events listed inside the leaflet and those who’ve got 10 sheep names or more will receive a prize.

Why not take photos of the sheep or characters as you find them and post them to Facebook or Twitter using the hashtag #hexhamsheep If you are under 18 please ask a responsible adult to help you post photos online and don’t post pictures of yourself.
